Nap Time

    {Roxy Lalonde X Reader}



    (Name) huffed, trying to find the girl she was looking so desperately for.

    “Roxy Lalonde! When I find you, I’m going to teach you a lesson!” Drunken giggling could be heard from above (Name)’s head, so she took off as fast as her legs could carry her for the source.

    “Never again,” she muttered, “will I let Roxy try to play hide and seek.” The girl was smart enough already, and then you lower her inhibitions by getting her drunk? What a load of trouble. (Name) shook her head. “She could be on the roof for all I know, hanging around like an idiot and laughing.”

    Cue more drunken laughter.

    “Stupid Roxy, making me chase after her all the time!” (Name) raced up her stairs, hurrying to check every room in search of her friend.

    Bathroom? No. Living room? No. Kitchen, dining room, attic, and basement? All empty.

    “Y’know what? Screw it. I give up. She’ll come find me eventually.”

    She sighed, trudging into her room and collapsing on the bed, though she shot up the instant her back hit something hard.

    (Name) peeked under her covers, seeing a sleeping Roxy murmuring something about cats. Too tired and nice to wake her up, (Name) just slid under the covers with her.

    “Roxy, you’re a giant pain, y’know that?” In response, Roxy mumbled and pulled herself closer to the girl beside her. Not even bothering to fight the smile overtaking her face, (Name) placed a kiss to her forehead before drifting off peacefully in her embrace.



    “Jake, shouldn’t we uh…Wake ‘em up?”

    “Why on earth Dirk? They look like their enjoying themselves! Seems like fun! Maybe we should join in on the snooze-fest next time!”

    “Now c’mon you two! Let’s not disturb them!” The three friends glanced back at the tangled mess known as (Name) and Roxy, each one grinning ear-to-ear. They sent each other knowing glances before looking one more time, speaking in unison.

    “Goodnight you two.”
